Banana Wafers are a popular snack eaten world over. Banana Wafers are made by cutting bananas into thin slices. The slices are then rapidly dehydrated to reduce the moisture content and then fried in cooking oil. Excess oil is extracted and fried banana wafers are seasoned with salt and other spices as per the requirement and then packed in pouches using suitable packing machine.
Machines Involved in making Banana Wafers:
Banana Slicing Machine
To slice the bananas into thin slices for making Banana Wafers as per required type and thickness. It is possible to make different styles by simply changing the cutting knife of the machine
Slice Washing Machine
To wash the prepared slices and remove Starch form it.
Water De-Hydrator Machine
To reduce the moisture content from the banana slices so that they get easily fried in the frying machine
Wafer Frying Machine
To fry the banana slices in hot cooking oil
Oil-Extractor Machine
To extract the excess oil from the Banana Wafers before packing
Semi-Automatic Seasoning Machine
To add oil and required seasoning to the fried Banana Wafers to give the different flavors to the Banana wafers
Automatic Motorized Sealing Machine
To seal the Banana Wafers in heat sealable laminated pouches.

a) Banana Wafers Plant with the capacity of 300 kg per 8 hour shift
b) Banana Wafers Plant with the capacity of 600 kg per 8 hour shift |
